Hello,

Little Bennett Regional Park_Hessam_23I started  workshop series in 2014 called OPEN STUDIOS to provide free consultation about Art , Music, and Design (web & graphic design)  to Persian community in the area.

Here is the notes as part of my first workshop held on Jan 19th, the step by step,  how to access your WordPress website and create a new post or web page in your website.  This is helpful for those who were in my workshop,  please follow the steps below:

1- You should be able to login to the WordPress website by going to:
http://www.yourwebsite.com/wp-admin

2- While in your Dashboard page, on the left sidebar choose the Post and click on add new, start adding Title on top and type or paste your text in the main  area.

3- To add a thumbnail picture at the beginning of your paragraph, insert your cursor in place and click on the tab Add Media, from your media library pick the image you already have or upload one from your computer. below the sidebar  you can select  size of the picture, choose thumbnail. Then insert the picture.

4- On the right column under Categories choose the one you would like to post to, for example Newsletter

5-after you are done click on publish.

The same holds true for creating Pages.
