The Koohodasht Hiking group will host Sizdehbedar (the Iranian traditional New Year picnic) at Seneca Creek State Park on April 5th at 10:00 am. We reserved the Bob White Pavilion, which has a maximum capacity of 50 people. There are picnic tables and a grill as well. The pavilion has handicap accessibility, a playground , it’s close to restrooms, and has many parking spaces. In addition, Seneca Creek Park has other activities such as hiking trails, boating, and fishing. At the pavilion we will of course eat, play backgammon and play dodge ball.
There is a $3.00 entrance fee per person at the entrance of the park. Please reply to all recipients in this email if you and your family will be attending. In your response, please indicate what you will be bringing to share (food/equipment/games). This will help to organize our event. If you have any question please contact Hessam Dahi (301) 318-6243.
Hope to see you there!
